    2. Apply to the chosen university or college and get the acceptance letter and make sure you fulfil all their basic requirements.
    3. Once accepted, the university or college will issue a I-20 form, which is essential for your Visa process.
    4. Now is the time to pay SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) fees which you can do from their official website and keep the receipt saved for the visa process.
    5. Next step is to fill the online no-immigrant visa application, known as DS-160. This will include your personal information and travel plans. Additionally, upload the passport sized photograph that matches with the visa photo requirements.
    6. After filling the application, pay the Visa Application fees and schedule an interview with the Embassy. The waiting time for getting the interview date can vary so you should take some extra time with you in this process.
