What is PTE™ (Pearson Test of English) Exam?
The PTE exam is one of the most widely accepted standardised tests to check the English language proficiency level of candidates belonging to non-English speaking countries. PTE test you on all four of your language skills i.e. Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.
PTE Academic and PTE Academic UKVI consist of 20 question types to evaluate your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Scores would depend on the difficulty level of the question. PTE overall score is graded in the range of 10–90.
You typically need to score 57+ in PTE enables you to study or work in English-speaking countries like Australia, Canada, UK, USA and Ireland.
PTE is an abbreviation for “Pearson Test of English” and is one of the best recognized English proficiency exams globally. - Speaking and Writing Section = 77 – 93 mins
- Listening Section = 45 – 57 mins
- Total Time = 3 hrs
