About Me
As the founder and lead career mentor of AbroadUp, I bring over 20 years of experience in mentoring students toward achieving their academic and career goals. Having dedicated my career to assisting young minds unlock their full potential, my passion lies in genuinely guiding students through one of the most important decisions in their lives—choosing the right country, program for their higher education abroad.

My Journey
My journey in the education sector began with a deep-rooted desire to empower students through skill development and personalized mentorship. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve had the privilege of running various skill-based training centres including IT training, Soft-skills, career coaching, where I enriched my ability to understand individual strengths and curate learning experiences to meet diverse requirements.
In my academic career spanning over 2 decades, I have guided thousands of students across various streams, from technical courses to language proficiency programs. This extensive industry experience equipped me with the insight to recognize the challenges students face, not only in terms of academic readiness but also in navigating the complexities of the global education system.

My Philosophy
At the heart of my counselling philosophy is a belief that education is transformative and “counselling” doesn’t mean “selling”. My role as a mentor goes beyond merely helping students get accepted into top universities—it’s about preparing them for the broader experiences that life abroad offers. I emphasize the importance of not just academic excellence, but cultural adaptation by learning various languages, openness, being a brand ambassador of India abroad and long-term career planning.

Recognizing a growing need for reliable and transparent study abroad consultancy services, I co-founded AbroadUp with my wife Anju Agarwal. The mission was clear to both of us: to create a most genuine consultancy that provides personalized guidance to students aspiring to study overseas especially in affordable destinations providing quality education. Our vision is to be a reliable support system for the student community bridging the gap between students’ ambitions and the multitude of opportunities available in premium overseas institutions.
